And I thought "The Simms" was bad. I havn't had time to play games fully in close on 3 months now. Maybe thats a good thing, at least I can say I sort of live in the real world.

Uh ehm... not that I like bragging or have a an ego problem, but I do believe that I was one of the top students in your class ;).

You're right about missing a whole target area. Most people find podcasts using iTunes - fair enough, but many people check out podcasts using social networks or sites like PodcastAlley. I've even found some decent podcasts by playing SecondLife and getting some 'word of mouth' referals along the way

Possibly a tech-fight here too... SecondLife (http://www.secondlife.com) vs. There (www.there.com)

I know you never took me seriously in class. That's why you had to move to a different continent to get your degree? ;-)

You are correct in that you could use iTunes as you podcatcher to subscribe to the podcast. Click on the Advanced menu and add the feed manually under Subscribe.

The big problem was that my casts were not listed in the iTunes directory in the iTunes Music Store. So if you go the the podcast section of Music Store and searched for "4Geeks", you would get a big fat nothing.

Most people find and subscribe to podcasts (still) using the iTunes Music Store, and it's a huge market that you miss if you're not listed.

Hey Tom,

I've been subscribed to your podcast on iTunes for a while now. You dont really need to be 'found' on iTunes. I simply took your site's feed link and subscribed to it via iTunes. It actually uses the embedding tags in the RSS to pull out your mp3.

And thanks for the thanks ;)

Mike, I never take anyone seriously. Ask Tom, I never took him seriously ;)
