Long live snail mail!
Everyone uses email. Or IM. Or even Skype. No one will ever use snail mail again. Does anyone send letters anymore?
Recently, the United States Postal Services (USPS) had one clear, unambiguous message for all the users at an eBay convention: “We LOVE you guys!”
Apparently the USPS is enjoying a boom, and this thanx to the Internet. Yes, we might not be sending as many letters as before, but the Americans are buying, buying and buying some more online. And all of these purchases need to be delivered. And someone – like USPS – needs to deliver it.
So, despite doom prophets prematurely predicting the death of postal services, it now seems that the very cause of their projected demise might just be their saviour.
