Thinking of the Scanes’es

Emigration, Update 2 Comments

A view of Sydney's Harbour Bridge from an embankment I still don’t know how to pluralise ‘Scanes’? I’ve tried before, but they would probably swim here if I claim the plural of Scanes is ‘mob’.

I am, of course, referring to our favourite two new Australians: Grant and Karen. And then I came across this article today on the BBC:
BBC NEWS | World | Asia-Pacific | Sydney’s bridge marks 75th year

It’s also quite interesting to read about their own experience of driving across the harbour bridge the first time.

Perhaps you’ve forgotten what the bridge looks like, and need a refresher? Here’s a BBC photo gallery of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
