She paints as well as her mother sings

I returned home from basketball practice a bit earlier this morning: I was on the verge of injuring myself and pulled back before I came to serious harm. In addition to this, I was curious to come home a bit earlier than expected and see what my girls were up to.

They didn’t disappoint me. Liela was upstairs, reading a book allowed to her dolls. I heard her as I slipped in the front door, but that’s not what covered my sneaky return.

Elfie was in the kitchen, all smocked up at the table which was draped in a big plastic sheet. She had a choice of paints and pens available, and was singing happily along - but to a completely different tune - to Kobra’s iPod.

Kobra was crooning along with Laurika Rauch, and Elfie was trying to join in on this. I enjoyed being a fly on the wall for a couple of minutes listening to my lovely loud girls as they enjoyed themselves.
